Project Overview
The key objective of this project is to provide emergency livelihood assistance for safeguarding food and nutrition security and ensure emergency agriculture livelihood protection.
Project Outcome
The project is ongoing in the Helmand province of ten districts, FAO and OHW will undertake the following interventions in the Helmand Province through the OSRO/AFG/203/ASB project.
Output 1: 8 000 households received wheat cultivation packages and technical training;
Output 2: 2 058 households received nutrition-sensitive kitchen gardening vegetable cultivation kits and technical training;
Output 3: 2 941 households received livestock protection packages and technical training;
Ouptut 4: 588 households received poultry kits and technical trainings;
Output 5: 1 500 households received small farming tools;
Output 6: A community–based drought EWS is established
